BALI STATE MUSEUM


This museum complex consists of some buildings and pavilions. There are some imitation buildings of Balinese Palace and Pura that the buildings form like Bentar temple and Kulkul Tower. The main building of this museum has contents of pra historic goods that made from stone and shopper and traditional equipments that still used until present.

At the north pavilion of the museum, there are many dancing costume collections and kinds of masks. The center pavilion was built like pavilion at KarangAsem Palace Pavilion in Amlapura where The King usually held an audience. The south paviliyon has many kinds of textile collections such as Endek, Head cloth, Songket and Prada. This museum open on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 08.00 am until 03.45 pm. This museum is closed early on Friday and Saturday.
